Manchester City are one of a trio of Premier League clubs to have enquired about Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also reported to have expressed their interest in the Palermo forward, who has also interested Manchester United - though he is not at the top of Louis van Gaal's summer shopping list.

Dybala, 21, has been one of the revelations of the season in Serie A, with 12 goals and seven assists so far in the league.

However, Palermo currently occupy 11th place in the Serie A table, a position which is unlikely to be enough to keep hold of a youngster tipped by some as the successor to City star Sergio Agüero.

Palermo president Mauro Zamparini feels that Italian champions Juventus are the fore-runners in the race to acquire Dybala's signature, but the Bianconeri have had an initial approach knocked back as it failed to match his club's valuation of £30million pounds.

Zamparini also expects to lose Italy midfielder Franco Vázquez after three years at the club.

"Dybala and Vázquez will probably be sold this summer," he admitted. "Will they go to Milan? No. They are being tracked by Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain."
