Manchester City are planning a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Arjen Robben in the summer according to reports. The 31-year-old, who has scored 71 goals in 127 appearances during his time in Germany is reportedly subject to a £24million pound bid from Manuel Pellegrini.

They have been alerted to the Dutch international’s availability after it was reported that Munich are willing to sell the winger.  

Robben has been linked with other Premier League sides with Manchester United thought to be interested in him as Louis van Gaal a keen admirer during his time with Bayern and the Dutch national team.

It has been a miserable season by City’s high standards as they failed to be a realistic threat to the newly-crowned champions Chelsea and again failed to make a huge impact in the UEFA Champions League.

Robben is the latest on a list of names of highly sought of players linked with a move of Etihad, Robben joins the likes of: Raheem Sterling, Paul Pogba and Alexandre Lacazette to name a few.
