The wait is over for the Citizens. Manuel Pellegrini's men start their 2015/16 Barclays Premier League campaign with an important clash against West Bromwich Albion away at the Hawthorns.

Manchester City had no problems in beating the Baggies home and away last season with 3-0 and 1-3 victories respectively.

But just before tonight's clash, we take a look at the key West Brom players who could give the Chilean boss something to think about defensively to deal with.

Saido Berahino

One of the most-wanted players in the Barclays Premier League this season. The talented England international scored 14 goals in the league last season, created 28 chances, provided 27 key passes and bagged a single assist with 83% pass accuracy. Berahino's skills and speed in the final third of the pitch can be a serious headache to Pellegrini's back-four.

Chris Brunt

Yet another dangerous and key player for Tony Pulis' side. A player who enjoys providing creativity in the final third. The former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder provided ten league assists in the 2014/15 campaign as well as - scoring twice, having created 50 chances, 40 key passes, made 831 successful passes at a total of 73% pass completion rate.

Darren Fletcher

A very important, experienced player and club captain. The former Manchester United midfielder has won four Premier League titles, a UEFA Champions League title as well as one FA Cup trophy too during his tenure at Old Trafford.

He boasts a very important winning mentality for Pulis' men, despite having signed during the winter window of the last campaign. He completed 433 successful passes, scored once and boasted an impressive 80% pass completion rate too.

Rickie Lambert

Yet another experienced player and finisher in the Baggies' ranks. The former Southampton and Liverpool forward is expected to make his official debut for the club tonight.

Lambert played only 863 minutes of football for the Anfield side in 25 games last season. He scored twice in the league and created two assists too. His new supporters will be hoping that he could replicate the goal-scoring form he enjoyed with the Saints, when he scored thirteen and created ten assists in a more important role at St.Mary's.
