Manchester City confirmed another summer arrival in Pablo Mari on the same day as Joe Hart, Wilfried Bony, Eliaquim Mangala and Manu Garcia all left the club on loan deals.

Defender Mari will join the Blues from Gimnastic Tarragona, but is set to be immediately loaned out to Tarragona’s fellow second tier club Girona as Pep Guardiola looks to complete his summer transfers.

Hart moves to Italy

The highest profile departure from the club is Joe Hart, who fell out of favour under new boss Guardiola, as he completed a surprise move to Italian side Torino.

After not being favoured by his new boss due to the Catalan's style of play, Hart made his last appearance in the Champions League win over Steaua Bucharest in which he could say goodbye to the City supporters.

A season-long loan deal for the goalkeeper will see him make the move to Italy to continue to play consistently in order to keep his number one spot in the England team.

Bony heads to Stoke

Wilfried Bony has made the shorter journey to Stoke City where he is set undergo a medical after failing to impress Guardiola and to produce consistent performances that would warrant a first team place.

The Ivorian was brought to the club by Manuel Pellegrini last January for around £30 million on a four-and-a-half- year deal but will look to get some consistent game time under former City boss Mark Hughes, who has admitted he is looking for a striker over the course of the transfer window.

Valencia seal Mangala loan capture

Another departure from the club is Eliaquim Mangala who is set to seal a loan move to Spanish side Valencia. Another player who was signed for big money under Pellegrini has failed to impress in England and with John Stones taking up another City defensive option it seems the Frenchman had no choice but to depart the club.

It is understood he will undergo a medical on transfer deadline day ahead of the proposed move which personal terms have already been agreed.

Youngster heads to Spain to gain experience

City’s rather quieter departure is midfielder Manu Garcia who has made the loan move to Alaves on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old has made four appearances for the first team and scored one goal. He joins an Alaves side that are beginning their first ever season in La Liga.
