For Manchester United fans this is a beginning of a new era take 2, following the real disappointment of the last campaign. However the only way is up it seems with the reds having had an uplifting summer so far and boss Louis Van Gaal about to take the reins of this summers preseason tour of the US. So where does the revival begin and where can you follow all the action this summer.

Manchester United are taking part in the International Champions Cup that consists of teams such as Real Madrid, Liverpool, AS Roma and Manchester rivals Man City. They will play at least four games on the tour one friendly - LA Galaxy and three group games - AS Roma, Inter Milan and Real Madrid respectively. The winner of this group will face the winner from Group B in a final in Miami on 4th August.

Manchester United fly out this Friday, but their first game will not take place until Wednesday 23rd July at the Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, - LA Galaxy 7.30pm Local time and 3.30am UK time. This game will serve usual as preparation for the International Champions Cup and provide Louis Van Gaal with his first taste of management of the Red Devils.

Manchester United will then play three games in eight days, the first group game will be against AS Roma, Saturday 26th July at the Sports Authority field, Denver, Colorado at 2.10pm and 9.10pm UK time. In recent times Roma have been on the up; beginning to challenge for the title back in Italy and recent addition and former England Ashley Cole will boost their chances, a stern test for Louis Van Gaal’s side.

Manchester United will then face Inter Milan, a side who in recent years have struggled to produce the quality once shown, the once spectacular Jose Mourinho side is long gone but they could provide some sort of test for the Red Devils. The two sides will match up on Tuesday 29th July at the FedEx Field, Washington DC. Kick off will be 7pm local time and midnight in the UK.

The Final game in the group will see Manchester United face up against the current European Champions and they could see a familiar face in Cristiano Ronaldo. This game will be played Saturday 2nd August, Michigan Stadium, Michigan. Kick-off is 4.05pm local time or 9.06pm UK time.

If Manchester United win their group they will play Monday 4th August, Sun Life Stadium, Miami. Kick-off local time is 8pm and 1am UK time. They could possibly face Manchester City in the final; the first derby of the season.

They will then return to Manchester following the tournament and play Valencia on the 12th August at Old Trafford before beginning their Premier League campaign on the 16th August.
