Some more bad injury news regarding Manchester United; with the likes of Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Michael Carrick all out of action due to respective injuries - new signing Ander Herrera is set to join them on the sidelines for up to a month with a fractured rib, after being replaced during their 2-1 win over West Ham over the weekend.

Here is the official statement, made from United last night: "Ander sustained a fractured rib during the match against West Ham. He was substituted in the 74th minute and the club will continue to monitor his progress over the next few weeks."

Herrera tweeted this on his Twitter account: "A real shame this injury, but now's not the time to feel sorry for myself. I'm already working to be back as soon as possible!"

The injury just happens to be another unfortunate blow for van Gaal and his team; especially because Herrera has done well in midfield since he joined the club and they are already short on first-team players to choose from, as they get ready to face Everton this weekend.
