Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed Mats Hummels is thinking about a move to Manchester United, according to DW - Sports in a pre-match interview with Dein Sky Sport.

The centre-back has been heavily linked with a move to England for the past 12 months, and it seems things are beginning to kick off with the Dortmund manager’s latest comments. "He's good enough for Manchester United. He told me he's thinking about it," explained Klopp.

"We’re always looking around the market ourselves."

The German is coming off winning the World Cup with his home country in Brazil last summer.

Dortmund had a successful 2013-14 season, having finished runners-up in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, won the DFL-Super Cup and reached the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, however after a slow start to the new season coupled with injuries to big players, Dortmund see themselves sitting mid-table and in threat of players leaving if they fail to secure European football for next year.

The 26-year-old Hummels has started 24 games in all competitions for his club, scoring one goal.
