Manchester United’s loan roster were in full force over the weekend as most of the players were able to get game time. Some of them were even able to find the back of the net for their respective clubs as the football season comes to a close.

Reece James, currently on loan at Huddersfield town, played Jesse Lingard’s loan club, derby, over the weekend and they both got onto the score sheet in a thrilling 4-4 draw. James played the whole 90 minutes of the match and he managed to bag his first goal for the club within the first half. The defender completed 73% of his overall passes and even managed to create two attacking chances. James also managed to control the air at the Left-back position as he won 100% of the aerial battles. Unluckily, he gained a booking in the final minute of the game due to his only foul of the match.

Jesse Lingard, playing in the same match, scored an equaliser in the second half to pull the game back to 3-3. The midfielder has impressed whilst on loan to Derby and it showed with a passing percentage of 87% being completed and had two shots on goals with one of the ending up in the net. Lingard has now become a prized member of the Derby Midfield and they have extended his loan slightly in order to secure a place in the play-offs of the Sky Bet Championship to get back up to the Barclays Premier League.

Angelo Henriquez also scored for Dinamo Zagreb on Friday night in a win against the clubs local rivals, Lokomotiva Zagbreb. The on-loan striker is in blistering form as the 21-year-old has now scored 13 goals in only 20 games in the 1.NHL. The team won 2-1 and Henriquez played a part in both of the goals. He made a key pass for the first goal and he ended up scoring the second. His future at the Manchester club is still not set as he has to prove to Louis van Gaal that he would be a good addition to the United attack.

Other notable mentions from over the weekend include Tom Cleverley - who played the whole F.A Cup semi-final against Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday. They won the game 2-1 and Cleverley was one of their stand-out players. He was a candidate for the man of the match but did not win it. The midfielder had a few chances but was unable to take any of them. Sam Johnstone, currently on-loan at Preston North End, also played a good game in goal but was unlucky too have his team concede two penalties to draw their game 2-2.
