His first goal for Manchester United came against Everton, but Radamel Falcao has struggled to find his feet this season and with the trip to Goodison tomorrow it is unknown if the Colombian will start.

The 29-year-old played 90 minutes last weekend in Manchester United's 1-0 defeat to league leaders Chelsea, but failed to make an impact and with just four goals this season for the reds' it is unsure wheather or not he will be wearing a United shirt next season.

Falcao came to Old Trafford in summer on a season-long loan from AS Monaco and no agreement has yet been reached over making the deal a permanent one.

However, Monaco have claimed that the only club to have made contact over Falcao's future is Manchester United despite a number of clubs said to be interested, including Liverpool.

It is claimed that United chief executive Ed Woodward held talks with Monaco on Sunday and a long term deal could be done this Summer.

Louis van Gaal had to make several changes to his squad last weekend due to a number of injuries which forced Wayne Rooney dropping back to midfield with Falcao leading the line.

Daley Blind, Michael Carrick, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones were all absent from last week whilst Adnan Januzaj and Rafael have joined them on the injury list.

Manchester United boss van Gaal has said that Blind could make a return on Sunday but the rest remain on the sidelines. Januzaj was substitued as a precaution for the under-21s in midweek, but Rafael is out for the rest of the season after breaking several ribs.

If Blind does make the starting line-up tomorrow it is likely that Rooney will be pushed upfront again forcing Falcao back to the substitutes bench.

The Colombian has failed to create many chances this season and has not scored since January. With just five games left Falcao is running out of time to make an impact at United to seal a long term deal in Manchester.
