Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that there have been no concrete offers yet for the French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The midfielder who has been linked heavily with Manchester United was supposed to go under medical at Old Trafford on Wednesday according to numerous reports in England.

The Saints returned to pre-season training early on Monday due to Europa League Qualifiers. Schneiderlin joined the training for them after a layoff from an injury. The Dutchmen suggested that they are yet to receive “a serious bid for him from Man United”.

The French midfielder has reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United but Koeman believes the deal is far from being done. The Southampton boss suggested that they have “some doubts about players” and Schneiderlin is one of them.Koeman believes they “will wait as the buisness starts now.”

Schneiderlin while talking to France Bleu Alsace radio station last week revealed that "The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days, hopefully before the resumption of  training next week."

Louis Van Gaal hinted about signing a right footed holding midfielder at the the end of the season. Michael Carrick who has been the mainstay for the Red Devils and they suffered in his absence.

Schneiderlin on the other hand have enjoyed a brilliant season for Saints as they qualified for Europa League by finishing seventh in the league.

Saints boss believes they will not experience an exodus of players leaving this years as it happened last year.He suggested that  “it will be not the same this season, but we are prepared for everything”.

Despite losing the likes of Luke Shaw,Dejan Lovren,Adam Lallana,Rickie Lambert the Saints endured a very good season. With Arsenal opting out from United surely are the front runners for the French International.
