Hull City host Manchester United at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday evening with both sides looking to protect their perfect starts to the new Premier League season.
The tigers are the surprise package so far
It is not really a surprise that United under Jose Mourinho have started the season the way they have but for a Hull side who are decimated by injuries, it is phenomenal that they have got two wins from their first two games.
Hull began with a win over the champions Leicester City before backing it up with an away victory against Swansea City last weekend.
The Tigers were tipped by many people to be relegated this season and that may well still happen, but they have proven that they can upset the odds and compete with the best in the first two games. They will be looking to cause another surprise against United.
Red Devils' showing glimpses of what they can do
Under Mourinho though, United are starting to gel and play in a style that the fans want to see. Being the perfectionist that Mourinho is, he will want his side to keep up their momentum with a win before the international break.
United began with a convincing win away to Bournemouth before defeating Southampton last time out. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been the man so far for the Red Devils scoring three goals in the first two games, including a crucial brace against the Saints.
The last time the sides met
The last meeting between Hull and United in the Premier League was on the final day of the 2014-15 season, with the game finishing 0-0, a result that condemned the Tigers to relegation to the Championship.
Hull have not managed to beat United since 1974, losing 10 and drawing one of their last 11 meetings with the Red Devils.
Wayne Rooney will be licking his lips to once again play against Hull. He has scored seven goals in the last five games against the Yorkshire club, a record he will be looking to add to this weekend.

In terms of injuries, Mike Phelan has had a lot to contend with only having 11 fit outfield players to call upon. One of the players that had been injured for the first two games, Harry Maguire, made his comeback for the club against Exeter City in the EFL Cup mid-week and could be in contention to start this weekend.
Phelan, though, will find it hard to drop any of the players that have performed so well for him in the first two games with strikers Adama Diomande and Abel Hernandez in fine form. The United defence could be in for their toughest test yet this weekend.
United have a fully-fit squad to choose from now that Jesse Lingard returned to training this week. The winger went off injured against Leicester in the Community Shield a few weeks ago with an ankle injury but he has now recovered and could return to the fold.
Chris Smalling made his return against Southampton last weekend and could come into the starting XI this weekend. It will be interesting to see if Mourinho changes a winning side and whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will finally get his first start of the season.
