Hull City midfielder Tom Ince is reportedly holding meetings with the club about his future at the KC Stadium.

The two clubs who are reportedly looking to sign the winger on a permanent deal are Derby County and Newcastle United. Ince was on loan at Pride Park, where he scored 11 goals in 18 games under new Magpies manager Steve McClaren - he would apparently like to be reunited with the former Rams boss.

New Derby coach, Paul Clement, is also interested in bringing the 23-year-old back to the club, as well as Brentford’s Spanish winger Jota.

Ince is likely to leave Hull this summer with only a year left on his current contract. He only made three starts in his 13 total appearances, during a season which saw the club fall down to the Sky Bet Championship.

Ince needs to settle down

Ince has become quite the journeyman, playing for five different clubs in the last 18 months. The winger was on loan at Crystal Palace from Blackpool, before joining Hull on a free in the summer and has been on loan at Nottingham Forest and Derby since then.

The son of former Manchester United and Inter Milan defender Paul Ince started his career as a Liverpool trainee but never made a first-team appearance. Ince made his name at Blackpool, netting 31 goals in over 100 appearances over his three years at the seaside club.

Things are on a rocky standing internationally

The forward had a somewhat successful international career with England at under-21 level making 18 appearances since 2012. However his future international aspirations took a huge blow when he made the controversial move to reject the opportunity to play at the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in the Czech Republic - despite his heavy involvement in the qualifying process.

His decision surprised manager Gareth Southgate, who contacted both son and father, with the latter saying he needed to focus on his faltering club career.
