Slovenian forward, Haris Vuckic, is set to quit Newcastle United this summer in order to receive first team football at another club, according to the ChronicleLive.
Vuckic, 22, has been never been a regular in the first team at St James Park, making only seven appearances since signing from Slovenian side, Domžale in 2009.
McClaren talks
New Newcastle boss, Steve McClaren, was expected to talk with Vuckic about his future and that was confirmed by the youngster this week. Speaking to his native's media, he stated that "[he's] going." Also, that he wasn't in the former England boss' "plans."
Loan after loan
The 22-Year old has been loaned out for the past three season to Cardiff, Rotherham and Rangers respectively.
Vuckic joined Cardiff, on a one-month loan spell in February 2012. Due to injury problems, the Welsh club didn't extend his loan. He made five appearances, scoring one goal for Championship club.
The following season, he spent November onwards at Steve Evans' Rotherham. He was originally only on loan till January, but the loan was extended. Vuckic helped them achieve a play-off final win at Wembley against Leyton Orient, which meant the Millers were promoted to the Championship.
Reinvigorated by Rangers
Vuckic joined Rangers in February 2015, impressing on his debut with a goal against Raith Rovers, despite defeat. He went on to score nine goals in all competitons in 15 appearances for the Scottish Championship side, helping them acheive 3rd place - although that was a disappointment for Rangers fans.
Vuckic didn't travel to with the first-team to the United States for pre-season and has been demoted to playing with the under 21s. As a result, Rangers have re-ignited their interest in Vuckic and are favourites to re-sign the forward on a permanent deal.
Vuckic would be Rangers' 11th signing of the summer under former Brentford manager, Mark Warburton, as he aims to guide them the Scottish Premiership.
