Newcastle United have yet another must win game this weekend, as they search to pull clear of the relegation zone.

They face a Chelsea side who have had arguably the biggest fall from grace that the top flight has ever seen.

The facts and figures

Jose Mourinho never managed to win a league game at St. James' Park, but his ex-Chelsea side have swept aside Newcastle in the last three fixtures at Stamford Bridge, winning each game to nil. Despite this, Chelsea have only won 41 per cent of their 151 matches against Newcastle.

Chelsea have drawn their last four home games for the first time since the Premier League began. Despite not being able to win at home Chelsea are on the longest unbeaten run in the league, as they haven't lost in their last nine matches.

The Magpies come into this game on the back of a victory against West Bromwich Albion last week, which saw them climb out of the relegation zone. The 1-0 win meant Newcastle kept their first clean sheet in nine games.

A player who has massively under performed this season is Eden Hazard. However, the Belgian has scored more league goals against Newcastle than any other side. This weekend may be the time for the midfielder to turn his season around.

Ticket freeze

After massive fan backlash, Liverpool bosses have decided to scrap their plans to increase ticket prices next season. The most expensive ticket will now cost £59, instead of the planned £77.

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has also decided to freeze season ticket prices for adults next season and has even reduced the price of most children's tickets - a great move from the owner and fantastic news for fans.

Push for safety

A win this Saturday evening for Newcastle could potentially move them four points clear of the bottom three ahead of an upcoming three week break due to international fixtures and the FA Cup

Chelsea have already moved themselves clear of danger, but a win could mean they move into the top half of the table for the first time this season- something which nobody would have predicted them not to have achieved yet at the start of the season.
