Both Stoke and Swansea will look to recover from poor results pre international break when they meet at the Britannia.

Stoke would have been thankful for the two week break from league action you feel following a poor result and performance at Sunderland where they fell 3-1. Despite going behind early they did mange to level quickly through Charlie Adam, however put in a woeful defensive performance to give up easy goals.

It's been that sort of season so far for Stoke as they've been incredibly inconsistent with their eighth point tally from seven games. Their definitely not the solid looking defensive side they once were and have under a ex striker manager placed too much emphasis on trying to outscore their opponents with a lot of attacking talent available.

Home form is a massive concern for Mark Hughes especially considering how good they were at the Britannia last season when only three teams came here and won, compare that to this season where they've lost to Villa and Leicester whilst barely beating winless Newcastle and you've got issues.

Opponents Swansea City would have also gone into the international break a bit sour after they dominated Newcastle and twice took the lead at home only to draw the match 2-2 due to a mix of shoddy defending and not killing their opponents off.

It's probably not as surprise that Gary Monk's side's form has dipped in recent weeks after an amazing 100% start through three games. Just two points have followed in the four games since, however they are still 5th and will no doubt fancy their chances coming into this game.

They've clearly learned to toughen up a bit on the road whilst also keeping their attractive style of football which has shown with four points from three away games which has included trips to Chelsea and Manchester United, so along with Stoke's poor home for expect them to still be confident.
