That's all from me, Ameé Ruszkai. Thanks for joining us here at VAVEL to follow this afternoon's match.

Full time! 2-2 is the final score. A mixed result for both, who will be happy with the draw under their respective circumstances, but frustrated not to get all three points.

95 - The change is being made now.

94 - Some confusion as M'Vila looked set to be replaced by Gomez, but instead returned to the field of play to continue.

93 - M'Vila now struggling with an injury. Sunderland will hope that is just cramp as he has been a bright spot in a dark start to this season.

90 - There will be four added minutes.

89 - The crosses continue to go into Sunderland's box, but they are defending well, with just a minute of the 90 to go.

85 - Toivonen goes off for Larsson. Rodwell also comes on for Fletcher.

83 - West Ham continue to apply the pressure as we enter these final moments. Sunderland's defence is standing tall for now though. Toivonen is down with a problem, however.

78 - Lanzini breaks into the area, but the ball bounces off his hand accidentally and the linesman flags for a foul. Meanwhile, Noble goes off for Zarate.

74 - Yellow card for Coates as he brings down Lanzini on the counter. He will miss the West Bromwich Albion fixture now after the international break.

73 - The resulting free-kick is too deep from M'Vila and out for a goal kick.

72 - Yellow card for Jenkinson as he thwarts a potential counter led by Jones.

71 - A succession of corners for the visitors now - Sunderland need to stay tight.

69 - West Ham really piling on the pressure now as Payet's cross is put behind for a corner by O'Shea.

66 - Reid, who was a doubt ahead of this game, has been subbed off for James Collins, suggesting that he is struggling with that problem again.

64 - Sunderland are fuming, with Noble bringing down Borini but not receiving a second yellow. Huge call by the referee, should have been another red in the game.

63 - Jelavic should have scored! O'Shea thinks Pantilimon is coming but he doesn't and the substitute puts Payet's cross over the bar from about two yards out!

Incredible! Lanzini has a fierce shot from range and Pantilimon can only parry it into the path of the onrushing Payet, who reacts quicker than the defenders to equalise.

60 - GOAL! 2-2!

58 - Meanwhile, Moses comes off for Jelavic.

RED CARD! Lens is off! Second yellow for the Dutchman means Sunderland are down to 10!

57 - Lanzini goes on a mazy run and bends a shot just past the post as Jelavic prepares to come on for West Ham.

53 - Fletcher and Sunderland trying to take advantage of their man extra for now, with the striker's shot bobbling about in the area before Borini had a penalty appeal turned down.

52 - Bit of a battle between Borini and Jenkinson here, with the latter now receiving treatment after a clash. West Ham temporarily down to 10.

48 - Early chance for West Ham with a free kick in a good position, but Payet's effort curls right at Pantilimon.

Second half is underway!

Half time. It's West Ham piling on the pressure as the half comes to an end. Sunderland dominant but their defensive woes cost them at the end, with the Hammers looking brighter now as anxiety hangs in the Wearside air. 2-1.

46 - GOAL WEST HAM! Absolute dream of a first half comes to a disappointing end as Moses evades THREE defenders all at once to cut the ball back for Jenkinson to finish. 2-1.

45 - Three minutes of added time at the end of this first half.

43 - Good defending from Yedlin at the other end thwarts West Ham as they look to break. Cattermole fouled Payet in the build up though and receives a yellow now as the ball goes behind for a corner for the Hammers.

42 - He might have missed a golden chance moments ago, but Borini has been fantastic in this first half and he almost made amends for that miss just then as his effort from the edge of the box fizzed wide.

38 - Should've been three! West Ham don't clear their lines properly and Fletcher's beautiful flick finds Borini, who puts it wide one-on-one with Adrian. Should have scored!

37 - Another foul by Cresswell, this one on Lens, gives Sunderland a free-kick in a good position, but both the initial and second deliveries are cleared by West Ham.

36 - The yellows keep coming - Cresswell into the book now for a foul on M'Vila.

34 - Cattermole tries to find Lens but it's blocked by Cresswell who then gets rid of the danger. West Ham struggling to get on the ball at all.

32 - Yellow card for Lens after a rather reckless challenge.

30 - Home fans absolutely loving this. Roars from the crowd every time their team move forward with the ball.

28 - O'Shea meets the corner at the near post and forces a save out of Adrian - West Ham counter but Moses can't find a teammate.

27 - Fletcher played through by Borini and his effort catches a slight nick off the defender to take it wide for a corner.

24 - Yellow card for Reid as West Ham's frustration grows.

Absolute stunner from Lens, who forces a mistake from West Ham, allowing his team to win the ball back, with him then slipped in on goal by M'Vila as he beautifully chips Adrian from distance! Sunderland are flying.

22 - GOAL! 2-0!

20 - Good penalty shout for the hosts as Tomkins blocks off Borini after Fletcher plays a nice through ball. Referee gives nothing, seems to just be a coming together.

17 - Really good spell this from Sunderland. Keeping the ball well and not forcing anything as Borini goes on a good run but it comes to nothing.

15 - Lanzini tries to catch Pantilimon by surprise with an ambitious effort that flies off target.

13 - The hosts have a spring in their step now, working the ball well as Borini hits the sidenetting from the corner of the box.

Wonderful goal! Lens drills the ball in low for Fletcher who moves out towards the penalty spot, and he fires into the roof of the net with a marvellous one-touch finish.

10 - GOAL! 1-0 Sunderland!

9 - Silly foul on Borini from Jenkinson near the corner flag on the left hand side. Good position to get the ball into the box for the hosts. Lens over the ball.

6 - Free-kick is defended well, as is another shortly after, by Sunderland.

5 - Yedlin fouls Moses to give West Ham a free-kick in a good position to get the ball into the box.

2 - Toivonen tactically brought down by Noble on the halfway line as Sunderland look to break, resulting in an early yellow for the West Ham captain.

We have kick off!

Johnson is in court today, which explains his absence from the squad for the Black Cats.

Brown is on the bench for Sunderland for the first time this season in the league, the first time he's been included in the squad bar the cups, but there's no room for youngster Duncan Watmore, despite his bright performances off the bench this campaign and form for the under-21s.

Unchanged line-up for West Ham, whilst there are three changes to the Sunderland team - Fletcher, Coates and Yedlin in for Johnson, Kaboul and van Aanholt respectively.

West Ham subs: Randolph, Zarate, Obiang, Collins, Jelavic, Antonio, Oxford.

West Ham XI (4-2-3-1): Adrian; Jenkinson, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell; Noble, Kouyate; Moses, Payet, Lanzini; Sakho.

Sunderland subs: Mannone, van Aanholt, Brown, Larsson, Rodwell, Gomez, Defoe.

Sunderland XI (4-2-3-1): Pantilimon; Jones, O'Shea, Coates, Yedlin; Cattermole, M'Vila; Lens, Toivonen, Borini; Fletcher.

Kick-off only around the corner - here's today's teams...

Sakho will remain at the focal point of the attack, with Andy Carroll's fitness still in doubt, whilst the in-form trio of Dimitri Payet, Victor Moses and Manuel Lanzini pull the strings behind him.

However, with their latest result a disappointing draw, Slaven Bilic may want to ring the changes. Michail Antonio and Mauro Zarate provide the manager with alternate offensive options, but one would expect him to change the defensive aspects of his team if anything, based on last week's performance. In this case, Pedro Obiang could come into a holding midfield role, moving Cheikhou Kouyate forward, but that would mean sacrificing one of the lively three that sit behind the lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 set-up.

Things are a little more straight-forward regarding West Ham. They too have no fresh injury concerns, with Angelo Ogbonna, Joey O'Brien, Enner Valencia and Alex Song all still absent, and could field the same XI as last time out. Winston Reid is a doubt for the journey to Wearside with a back problem, but is expected to start in the centre of defence alongside James Tomkins once more.

Jermain Defoe could be recalled too, having sat on the bench at Old Trafford, especially after Fabio Borini drew a blank in his place, whilst the manager has also discussed the potential of switching to a 4-3-3 set-up, having seen the 4-2-3-1 do Sunderland few favours this campaign.

DeAndre Yedlin could also be in for his first league start, replacing left-back Patrick van Aanholt, with the Dutchman having had a poor start to the season. Yedlin impressed in his 90 minutes against Manchester City in the cup, and Advocaat hinted that he may try the loanee on the left at some point in the near future in the aftermath of that match.

One potential change that is worth mentioning, however, is that Jack Rodwell could play in defence today. The former-Manchester City man was speculated to play in a centre-back role with captain John O'Shea for last weekend's trip to Manchester United, but he suffered a slight knock in training and was unavailable to play. It will be interesting to see if Advocaat decides to deploy him in the back four this afternoon after the partnership of O'Shea and Younes Kaboul conceded three seven days ago.

With the team struggling, he is certainly a potential option for the manager to ponder as he looks to rectify their problems, but it does not appear that he believes it has come to that just yet, based on these comments.

However, he said that Larsson's playing time is "up to him" and "also depends on what the team is doing," remaining close-mouthed about why the midfielder has not been selected by concluding with "there must be a reason why he is not playing."

The Swede has started just two games all season, those the first two of the campaign, and Advocaat acknowledged, via the Sunderland Echo, that he is "one of the players who was a regular last season."

One of the scorers the time Sunderland last beat West Ham, Larsson, has been a key topic in Advocaat's pre-match build-up, with the manager quizzed on the player's frequent absence from the starting line-up this season.

Recent weeks have seen the Black Cats' squad hindered by slight knocks and illness, but only Adam Matthews should be absent for this match, still suffering from an ankle injury.

However, with a 100 per cent record away from home in the league this season, they are the favourites today, when combined with Sunderland's poor form, and will be searching for a win to bounce back from last week's point, keeping a four game unbeaten run going.

As for West Ham, they have had a very mixed start to their season, with incredible highs and disappointing lows already. Away victories at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City mean they have picked up some unexpected points, but they have struggled at home, losing to Leicester City and Bournemouth, whilst they could only draw with Norwich City at Upton Park last time out.

The Black Cats have endured poor starts to many of their recent seasons, and were they to come out of today's game without a win, it would be the third successive campaign in which they have failed to win a league game before October.

Dick Advocaat's men have won just once all season, and that was against League Two side Exeter City in the League Cup. Their last result was a 3-0 defeat away at Old Trafford against Manchester United, extending their losing streak to four games in all competitions. They are yet to earn a point in September at all, with their last coming away at Aston Villa in a 2-2 draw at the end of August.

Not many would bet against West Ham stretching that run to five, with Sunderland bang out of form as they come into the game.

Their last meeting came back in March of this year, with the Hammers victorious by a narrow 1-0 scoreline thanks to an 88th minute strike from Diafra Sakho. That continued an unbeaten run for the Londoners against their Northern opponents, with Sunderland's last win in this fixture being that 3-0 win back in 2013, having lost two and drawn two of the last four encounters.

The home fans will be praying for a result like that this time round, still awaiting their first Premier League victory of the new season. Yet, it is West Ham who narrowly lead the head-to-head, with 34 wins from their 88 encounters. Sunderland have won 31 of the remaining games, with 23 ending all square.

It is just the second time Swarbrick has taken charge of this particular fixture, having refereed West Ham's trip to Wearside in the 2012-13 season. That day, Sunderland emerged as 3-0 winners, with Sebastian Larsson, Adam Johnson and James McClean the scorers.

Under his charge, Sunderland have a record of three wins, five draws and three defeats, whilst West Ham have won twice and lost twice.

Swarbrick is a familiar face to Sunderland, or at least more so than West Ham. The 49-year-old has taken charge of today's hosts 11 times over the last four seasons, but has only officiated for the Hammers on four occasions in the same amount of time.

Neil Swarbrick is the man in the middle for this afternoon's clash on Wearside, taking charge of a match involving the Black Cats for the second time this season, having refereed their 1-1 draw here with Swansea City back in August.
