Swansea play host to newly-promoted Burnley in their first home game of the 2014-15 season.

The Swans won at Manchester United in their last outing, while Burnley lost 3-1 at home to Chelsea in their season opener.

Despite defeat, Burnley were spirited in their defeat to Chelsea and Sean Dyche has called on his players to prove the experts wrong, so many of whom have predicted the Clarets will finish in the bottom three.

"There has to be a reality to what we're hoping to achieve this season and Chelsea are top of the market or certainly up there. There's an inner belief that the big boys have, they play with almost a touch of arrogance. We're building that, we want to be humble but we need that touch of arrogance," Said Dyche.

Dyche continued to comment on Swansea City: “Swansea often make the pitch very big and keep the ball very patiently, happy to see lots and lots of passing with no real goalmouth action at times of course.

“So it is a different type of game for us tactically than what we were used to in the Championship.”

Swansea, who were tipped for a poor season, were shock winners at Old Trafford last week when Gylfi Sigurdsson made a positive start on his return to the club with the winning goal.

Swans defender Neil Taylor has called on his team to improve their home form, only 23 points were picked up at the Liberty Stadium last season- their poorest total in the Premier League.

“A big part of this season is about making the Liberty a fortress again,”

“Last season – at home - just wasn’t good enough by our standards. We have spoken as a team about doing a lot better in front of our own fans, because we didn’t give them enough to celebrate at the Liberty last season," Said Taylor.
