Garry Monk has told the media that Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has given the manager his full backing.
Monk has been under pressure in the role for a number of weeks now, with his side having recorded just one win since August, but players, pundits and, now, the club appear to be behind him despite this.
It is the perfect timing for him to hear such supportive words too, as defeating an in-form Liverpool side tomorrow could prove to be some task for the Swans.

Speaking to the press this week, via BBC Sport, Monk revealed that the chairman "has given [him] his full backing".
The manager explained that he has a great relationship with Jenkins, saying that they speak "regularly" about everything from "performances" to "players" to "transfers".
Most importantly though, Monk said that the chairman "understands how it works" and "the process" Swansea are "going through," which means he remains "extraordinarily supportive" despite recent struggles.
The 36-year-old continued to heap praise on those above and around him, saying that "trust" runs from "top to bottom" at the Liberty Stadium and that Jenkins believes "unity is the only way" to get through a tough period like the one the team are currently enduring.
Victory can spark Swans into life
As for the barren spell Swansea are on, Monk is eager to end this at Anfield on Sunday, no matter the size of the task.
Jürgen Klopp's side head into tomorrow's game off the back of qualification to the Europa League knockout stages and a 4-1 win at Manchester City, and so they will be a very tough opponent for the Welsh outfit as they look to end their poor form.
However, Monk believes his team have the "quality" to turn things around, it is just about showing this and some "fighting spirit" in order to get "that solid performance" and "that right result" that they "want" - and need.
Having picked up a point against Bournemouth last time out, coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2, the manager is looking for Swansea to "build some momentum again" too by "put[ting] it right" on Merseyside.
Swansea will travel to Anfield on Sunday for a 4:15PM BST kick-off with Liverpool.
