Swansea City will look to extend their unbeaten run to four games as Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace visit the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Since Francesco Guidolin took over the mantle from Alan Curtis, The Swans have gone without a loss in their last two away games. As The Eagles make the trip to South Wales, the Italian boss will have his first opportunity to impress on home turf.

Swans denied late equaliser versus West Brom

It was almost two wins from two on the road, as Gylfi Sigurdsson's 64th minute strike at The Hawthorns was cancelled out by a scrambled stoppage time Salomon Rondon leveller.

In that game, Ki Sung-Yeung was forced off due to a clash of heads. allowing Alberto Paloschi to make an early debut in Swansea colours.

The debutant made a real impression in his 45 minutes, with some quarters awarding the Italian striker man of the match for being involved in the Icelandic's goal, hitting Ben Foster's upright and being the general menace that his former boss at Parma, Guidolin, recruited him for. Paloschi is pushing for a start this weekend.

Eagles goal struggles continue

After a sterling start to the 2015/15 campaign, The Eagles have lost their goalscoring touch. Injuries have hampered Pardew's men with the absences of Yannick Bolasie and Bakary Sako keenly felt in attack.

Palace have lost the last five league games - their last point being in the reverse fixture versus Swansea, in the 0-0 draw over the festive period. In that time, the South Londoners have found the net just twice in six games - their last win came before Christmas, away to Stoke City.

Pardew's men have done better on the road

On the matter of away form, Palace have enjoyed better fortunes. Away from Selhurst Park, Palace have already usurped Norwich City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Watford and the aforementioned Potters.

Conversely, Swansea have enjoyed good form in Wales, but have lost four times this campaign. Last time out - and potentially critically - to a Jermain Defoe hatrick for Sunderland.

Also, in their last six meetings at home, the Swans have taken just eight points from a possible eighteen on offer. Draws are their achilles heel.
