Spurs continued their subtle dealings in the transfer market this Friday by offloading 24-year-old Spanish winger Iago Falque to Genoa, for a fee believed to be in the region of £4 Million.

Falque signed for the North London club in June 2011 after a relatively successful loan from his parent club Juventus, but leaves after failing to make any real impact and only one Priemer League start.

The winger did, however, catch the eye in his most recent loan at Rayo Vallecano where he scored some wonderful individual goals and made 28 appearances for the Spanish club. Falque will be hoping to reignite his faultering career in Italy with Genoa and recapture the form that, as a youth player, saw him grace the books of some of Europe's most illustrious youth set ups such as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Falque joins Sigurdsson, Gomes and Jake Livermore on his way out of White Hart Lane as new manager Pochettino attempts to trim his squad of fringe players before the start of the new Premier League season.
