13:59: Thanks for choosing VAVEL UK's minute-by-minute live coverage of today's sensational derby. Whatever you may have planned, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

13:55: Just as against Manchester United, Sam Allardyce will be frustrated, his side were the better side again today but only come away with a point. No protests against the penalty, rightly awarded to Spurs, but West Ham were by far the better side today. Another strong performance and another three points thrown away by West Ham in the Premier League.

13:54: FULL-TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 West Ham United

13:53: PENALTY SAVED...... but Harry Kane latches on the rebound to score! TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2-2 WEST HAM - Harry Kane

13:52: Just as I say that, Alex Song brings down Kane from behind in the penalty area and Spurs have a chance to rob a point from a sensational West Ham.

13:52: PENALTY TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

13:51: With the box packed full of Spurs players, Eriksen decides to shoot and blazes the shot miles over the bar. Spurs fans leaving now as their side don't look like salvaging a point.

13:50: Bentaleb attempts to slip Soldado through but Collins clears the ball into the stands. Two minutes remaining.

13:47: Five minutes of added time shown by the fourth official Mike Dean.

13:45: West Ham withstanding the bombardment of pressure, two minutes plus stoppage time to play.

13:43: Last change for West Ham - substitute Carlton Cole is himself replaced by James Collins. The change looked both tactical and due to an injury as Cole limped off.

13:41: Excellent save! West Ham are hanging on here, Soldado strikes a magnificent volley goalbound from ten yards out but he's denied by his fellow countryman Adrian.

13:38: Maybe the comeback is on. The Spurs full-back strikes a shot into the ground first time following an Adrian clearance, and the ball loops over the West Ham goalkeeper into the top corner. West Ham are in for a tense last eight minutes plus injury time.

13:37: GOAL TOTTENHAM HOSTPUR 1-2 WEST HAM UNITED - Danny Rose

13:36: Final change for Spurs - Nacer Chadli replaces Ryan Mason. One of many who has a disappointed performance in a Spurs shirt today.

13:34: Terrific save from Adrian! The Spaniard denies Eriksen from scoring another sensational free-kick.

13:32: GOAL! Or maybe not. Lamela's deflected shot leads to a Kane header which is saved by Adrian and the rebound is put in the back of the net by the striker, but the linesman's flag is up for offside and rightly so.

13:31: A second change for the Hammers, Matt Jarvis comes on for Enner Valencia with 15 minutes of normal time to go.

13:28: With a real lack of creativity, Spurs' hopes of a comeback are dying. However, West Ham should be praised for their performance as they've been fantastic in every department today. Strong at the back forcing Spurs into poor shots from long-range and clinical in front of goal when opportunities have arised for them.

13:25: First West Ham change, and a smart one, Allardyce replaces Mark Noble with Carlton Cole to prevent his skipper from getting a sending off.

13:23: Lloris is there again for Spurs' rescue to deny Valencia from making it 3-0. Spurs are not making this easy for themselves.

13:21: Ohhhh Jonathan Moss what are you doing? In a weekend of refereeing controversy, Noble - already on a yellow card - comes through the back of Sakho and is only given a warning by the referee. Immediately after Jan Vertonghen rushes over to push the West Ham skipper over, very similarly to Nemanja Matic's push against Burnley yesterday. The Belgian also gets away with a warning.

13:20: They're still sleeping. The initial cross is picked up on the opposite flank by Noble who finds Sakho with a terrific cross and the Senegalese international finishes well from a tight angle.

13:19: GOAL TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 0-2 WEST HAM UNITED - Diafra Sakho

13:16: Second Spurs change, Roberto Soldado replacing Andros Townsend. Prior to the change, Lloris denied West Ham from going 2-0 up, Spurs need to wake up and fast.

Team news for the second EPL game of the day: Everton XI - Leicester: Howard, Baines, Jagielka (c), Stones, Coleman, McCarthy, Besic, Barkley, Naismith, Lennon, Lukaku. Leicester City XI - Everton: Schwarzer, Konchesky, Morgan (c), Upson, James, Huth, Schlupp, Simpson, Cambiasso, Mahrez, Kramaric.

13:12: Mason curls an effort from outside the area straight into the grasp of Adrian. West Ham doing tremendously well in defence to prevent Spurs from getting in behind, Allardyce will be less than pleased if they leave White Hart Lane without three points today.

13:11: Play is resumed and Valencia is back on his feat as he runs with real threat at the Spurs defence only to have his shot blocked.

13:09: Valencia is down and receiving treatment on his knee, a worrying sight for Sam Allardyce.

13:08: Cresswell is booked for a shirt pull on Townsend. Two yellow cards so far both awarded to West Ham players for shirt pulls.

13:07: The corner is gathered comfortably by Lloris but Spurs can't launch a dangerous attack.

13:06: Noble brought down by Kyle Walker for a West Ham freekick, which is taken early and leads to a West Ham corner.

13:01: The second half is underway!

13:00: First change of the game just before the second half, Moussa Dembele is replaced by Christian Eriksen.

12:55: Spurs definitely have it cut out for themselves in the second half, a comeback certainly is possible but where will the inspiration come from?

12:52: West Ham certainly looking much stronger than they did in their 4-0 loss to West Brom last week. Whereas, Spurs look very much their old selves with chances being created but no final product. The frustration of the fans, however, clearly reached the players out on the pitch as there was a handful of mistakes in the last ten minutes of the first half which only frustrated the fans further.

HALF-TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 West Ham United

12:45: The first yellow card of the game goes to Noble for a little tug. West Ham fans creating all the noise present at the Lane. Spurs fans clearly frustrated with their sides performance, with faint boo's heard at the half-time whistle

12:41: West Ham skipper Noble caught Moussa Dembele in possession in midfield and attempts a David Beckham-like effort from inside his own half which barely reached the edge of Lloris' box. First Di Canio, now Beckham, modern day players finding it hard to replicate pieces of real skill from those retired Premier League stars.

12:38: Mason drags another shot wide of the goal from far out to the frustration of the Spurs fans in attendance. Plenty of chances for both sides here today, but it's West Ham who still lead 1-0.

12:37: The corner ends up with the taker Mark Noble having a shot blocked by Kyle Waker after a failed cross from Cresswell. The following corner is headed away with ease by Spurs.

12:36: A long Cresswell ball aiming for Sakho is intercepted by Eric Dier and put out of play for a West Ham corner.

12:34: West Ham fans in good spirit chanting, "It's all quiet at the Lane!" Spurs fans promptly respond creating a wave of noise.

Great bit of play!! Boom 1-ZIP!!

— Andy Carroll (@AndyTCarroll) February 22, 2015

12:33: Injured West Ham striker Andy Carroll certianly enjoyed the West Ham goal, although I'm sure he would have enjoyed it much more if he had scored the bullet header!

12:30: A stoppage in play as both Kouyaté and Sakho receive treatment. Nothing too serious as both players are allowed to continue.

12:28: West Ham are causing the Spurs defence some real problems via Cresswell's crosses. Hugo Lloris this time denies Sakho of a goal with a brilliant save, then seconds later Mason lashes a shot across goal from just outside the area which flashes wide of the goal.

12:26: CLOSE! Rols are reversed as Kane plays a dinked ball in behind the Hammers' defence to Rose, who heads the ball just over the bar. Plenty of chances for Spurs, they're just not taking them at the moment.

12:25: Is this the start of a week to forget for Tottenham? Only time will tell, with 65 minutes for Spurs to turn this around.

12:22: Back in midfield and back on the scoresheet for West Ham! Kouyate heads home a terrific cross from Cresswell - his 4th assist of the season in the BPL.

12:21: GOAL! TOTTENHAM 0-1 WEST HAM - Cheikhou Kouyaté

12:20: An Andros Townsend free-kick is simply claimed by Adrian, West Ham break, but nothing comes of it.

12:18: West Ham are starting to pick up the pace now, with a few crunching tackles coming in the middle of the park. The intensity of the game definitely increasing with these 'derby day tackles'.

12:16: First real chance for West Ham. A cleared corner is worked out to full-back Aaron Cresswell 30 yards from goal and his effort is sliced wide of the goal.

12:15: This time Sakho's strike partner - Enner Valencia - finds space behind the Spurs defence and he too is flagged for offside. Slow start from West Ham.

12:14: West Ham have to be wary of the long ball over the top, as Harry Kane will be looking to run in behind their defence all game which we prove to be a tough test for Reid and Tomkins at the back.

12:11: CLOSE! Harry Kane latches onto a long ball over the top from Danny Rose, and attempts a 'Di Canio-esque' volley one-on-one with Adrian but slices it wide under pressure from Winston Reid.

12:10: Carl Jenkinson plays a ball in behind the Spurs defence looking for Diafra Sakho, but the Senegalese striker is offside.

12:08: James Tomkins brings down Ryan Mason for a Spurs free-kick in a dangerous position. Unfortunately for Spurs, the chance is wasted as Erik Lamela's free-kick is blocked by the wall of West Ham players.

12:05: Nabil Bentaleb comes close with a thunderous strike from 25 yards out, but was only denied by a fantastic Adrian save. The corner that follows, falls back to the Algerian midfielder, however his timid strike from a similar range this time was easy for the West Ham goalkeeper.

12:04: Playing their 43rd game of the season may make it no surprise that Mauricio Pochettino has left Christian Eriksen on the Spurs bench today. Fiorentina and Chelsea clearly in the back of the Argentinian's mind.

12:02: Both sets of fans are in fine voice, creating a great atmosphere for this tie.

12:00: KICK-OFF - Here we go!

11:59: Handshakes exchanged, teams confirmed, coin toss completed. The only thing left to do is kick-off!

11:56: Both sides are heading out of the tunnel! We're almost ready to kick-off what hopes to be an excting game of football!

11:45: The sides are heading in from there warm-ups for last minute preparations, only 15 minutes to go till kick-off!

11:40: Only 20 minutes to go till kick-off at White Hart Lane!

"I am risking my place in the dugout for the (Capital One Cup) final by having this discussion. I cannot go too far. But the reality is that week after week we are having these decisions (against us). Football is football, but I think it is too much. I think my players don't deserve that. Yesterday I was calm in the press conference but my players are not getting the respect they deserve."

"The best players in the world make mistakes. This gentleman (Martin Atkinson) is one of the top referees in European football, he can also make mistakes. He clearly made four important mistakes yesterday. He is like the lawyer who is consistent because he lost 15 of 15 cases. You don't want that lawyer.

This morning Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has appeared on Goals On Sunday on Sky Sports and has commented on yesterday's incidents against Burnley, "What can I say that everybody doesn't know? There are some incidents in matches where there is space for discussion and different opinions and explanations. You have a point of view, I have a point of view, but there are actions when there is clearly only one point of view. These four incidents are clear for everyone.

11:30: Will they concede an 8th? We'll find out soon with kick-off soon upon us! Only 30 minutes to go now!

11:27: Interesting stat via the West Ham twitter account: @SpursOfficial have conceded more penalties than any other Premier League side this season, including one to us in August (7) - @whufc_official

West Ham subs - Spurs: Jaaskelainen, Demel, O'Brien, Collins, Nolan, Jarvis, Cole.

West Ham XI - Spurs: Adrian, Jenkinson, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell, Song, Noble (c), Kouyate, Downing, Sakho, Valencia.

Spurs subs: Vorm, Davies, Fazio, Stambouli, Chadli, Eriksen, Soldado.

Spurs XI - West Ham: Lloris (c), Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Mason; Lamela, Dembele, Townsend; Kane.

11:05: For the Hammers today Winston Reid, James Collins and Matt Jarvis are all available for selection, which will strengthen what has been quite a weak bench in recent weeks. Goalkeeper Adrian is available as his red card against Southampton was rescinded as previously stated earlier, and unfortunately for Allardyce Andy Carroll is still out with a knee injury and new signing Nene is lacking match fitness therefore he won't feature today.

11:01: On the other hand, a win for West Ham could make them strong contenders for a Europa League qualification spot and close the gap between the London rivals to two points, whilst denting Spurs' Champions League dreams.

10:58: With that in mind, the Spurs boss did rest star striker Harry Kane in Thursday's Europa League clash, as a win today could see them edge ever closer to a potential top four spot qualifying them for the Champions League group stages, which is very much the main aim of the club in recent years. Especially with qualification for next season's Europa League imminent, as even if they fall to Chelsea on Sunday they will qualify for the competition - if Chelsea inevitably finish in the top four - as in the case of the winner qualifying for the Champions League via other means, the Europa League spot goes to the runner-up.

10:54: Whereas, Pochettino had plenty to say regarding the fixture congestion present in Spurs' fixture list at this moment in time, "It's a critical period as we have a lot of finals. Sunday is a final, Thursday is a final, next Sunday is the cup final. It's true we have very tough games. We need all our energy and to be focused in every game."

10:50: The West Ham boss went on to say, "We've been playing very well recently, but haven't been collecting enough wins. We have to maintain that level to qualify for Europe and certainly beating the big boys will be difficult but not impossible." Afterwards, he further reiterated the importance of winning many of their remaining games, "A win in a derby is a bonus for us all, particularly the fans. We're concentrating on winning as many games as possible from now on until the end of the season."

10:48: Prior to today's game, Big Sam was questioned about that memorable day, to which he responded, "It was a great result, one of the best performances and results in my time here at the club."

10:47: The highlight of that game? A stunning solo goal from promising English talent Ravel Morrison, who recently had his contract terminated by West Ham and is currently without a club. How so much can change in 18 months...

10:46: However, although Spurs have had the overall success, it was West Ham who won the bragging rights last season at the Lane with a historic 3-0 victory that I'm sure the travelling West Ham fans in attendance that day will never let the Spurs fans forget about.

10:45: Historically, Spurs have been on the winning side 52% of the time at White Hart Lane against West Ham, who have only managed to win 25% of those fixtures played at White Hart Lane. For all of you whose brain's can't handle maths on a Sunday morning, both sides left North London with a point 23% of the 64 fixtures.

10:42: The reverse fixture, which took place on the opening day, was a 1-0 away victory Spurs that included a missed penalty, two red cards, a last-minute winner and a fan tucking away a free-kick as Christian Eriksen watched a sight which he'd replicate many times later this season. It had excitement for the neutral which could be extremely rare to replicate on a normal matchday. No pressure then.

10:40: 'Big Sam' (Allardyce) claimed the dismissal was a fault by the referee and rightfully so as the red card was rescinded days after the game. Thankfully for the manager not shy of expressing his feelings, Pawson won't be officiating today's game. Instead, Jonathan Moss will be, whose decision to not send Gareth Barry off for his challenge on Kevin Nolan in the Hammers' 1-0 defeat to Everton at the end of last season left Allardyce 'bemused'... oh dear. Is there not a Premier League referee who the veteran manager has not crossed in a post-match interview?

10:35: Nonetheless, Chelsea should be far from Tottenham's worries today, as they face a tough visit from a strong West Ham side. As the famous axiom says, "You can only beat what is put in front of you". Which is exactly what both Tottenham and West Ham failed to do in their midweek BPL games almost a fortnight ago, with Tottenham losing 3-2 away to a late Mario Balotelli winner and West Ham settling for a 0-0 draw away at surprise package Southampton after goalkeeper Adrian was dismissed by referee Craig Pawson.

10:33: Tottenham's last competitive fixture was here at today's venue against Italian side ACF Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa League, in spite of a fantastic Roberto Soldado opener, Mauricio Pochettino's men were held to a draw in the first leg of a crucial tie against what proved to be tough opposition. With the return leg in Italy coming just before their significant trip to Wembley to play Chelsea in the Capital One Cup Final, Pochettino may have to rest a few key players with a strong chance of silverware on offer on Sunday. Chelsea will certainly have the upper hand, not having to play midweek, allowing them to rest key players.
