It has been a busy day for a lot of teams on deadline day but few have done as much as business as Watford. The Barclays Premier League newboys have announced the arrivals of Adlene Guedioura, Obbi Oulare and Victor Ibarbo on Tuesday afternoon.

Guedioura makes his return

The 29-year-old Algerian midfielder will be welcomed back with open arms at Vicarage Road and has signed a three-year deal at the club. He enjoyed two successful loan spells while at Crystal Palace last year and after helping them securing promotion back to the top flight.

During his temporary stays at Watford last year, he made 17 appearances and scored three goals. Quique Sanchez Flores has already added depth to central areas this summer, with Valon Behrami, Etienne Capoue and José Manuel Jurado all coming into the club.

Oulare bolsters striking options

This is perhaps the biggest coup of all their transfer dealings, with German giants Borussia Dortmund having reportedly chased his signature all summer. The Belgian striker is just 19 and has been rewarded with a five-year deal; the fee is said to be close to the £6m mark, say to Sky Sports.

Oulare scored nine goals in 39 appearances for Club Brugge and is a sizeable presence up front, standing at almost two metres in height. It seems that he will fight with Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo for a place in the starting eleven, with Matej Vydra set to go out on loan to Reading.

Ibarbo provides pace and power

As previously mentioned, Watford boost an already impressive strike force. Therefore it seems like Ibarbo's more physical nature will be used to exploit mismatches against wing-backs and create chances for the striking trio. Ibarbo, who spent last season at Roma, has struggled to find the net regularly.

The Columbian international's arrival, on loan, means that Watford's summer signing total has risen to a staggering 15. That means that Sanchez Flores has brought in more players than any other Premier League club.
