In gameweek 4 of the 2014/15 Premier League season, a struggling West Bromich Albion side will hope to record their first win of the campaign over an equally shaky Everton side. The game will see West Brom manager, Alan Irvine face up against his former club for the first time.

The hosts currently have 2 points under their belts from the first 3 games, with 2-2 and 0-0 draws against Sunderland and Southampton respectively, before suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat at the Liberty stadium 2 weeks ago.

Likewise, Everton drew their first two games, only to be followed by a massacre against Chelsea, where they conceded 6 goals in a 9 goal thriller. Despite having leaked 10 goals in in the first three games, Everton have arguably been the better side in two of those, only to surrender leading positions.

With 7 of the last 10 meetings between the 2 sides culminating in  draws, it's a fixure that always looks to be closely fought, especially with both West Brom and Everton looking for their first 3 points.

Team News - West Brom:

Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe is a doubt for the Baggies as he picked up a hernia injury in training. Anichebe looks likely to join Youssouf Mulumbu on the sideline as he nurses a hamstring injury; Both players will be assessed on Saturday.

Chris Brunt, Gareth McAuley and Graham Dorrans are all available after brushing off minor knocks sustained whilst on international duty. Goalkeeper Ben Foster also looks as if he'll be available for the weekend clash, after recovering from a thumb injury that forced him to withdraw from the England squad.

Another former Everton player, Joleon Lescott may make his West Brom debut after overcoming his knee injury. Georgios Samaras, Silvestre Valera and Sebastian Blanco may also be presented to the West Brom supporters for the first time, although they lack match fitness. Samaras' last 2 premier league goals were scored against Everton, whilst playing for Manchester City in 2007.

Team News - Everton

Roberto Martinez is set to assess the fitness of Leon Osman (calf), Samuel Eto'o (groin) and Romelu Lukaku (toe) on Saturday, with Lukaku most likely to feature out of the 3.

Ross Barkley's knee injury is still keeping him away from the squad for the time being, whilst Arouna Kone - who has been out of action since the start of last year - alongside Bryan Oviedo are edging closer to a return, after playing a behind closed doors game last week.
