West Bromwich Albion will look to pick up vital away points as they make the trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Saturday, in the Premier League.

Tony Pulis' men are without a point domestically since the 0-0 draw versus Aston Villa in the West Midlands derby three weeks ago, and are without a league win since January 2. On the road, West Brom are winless since October.

Rocky few weeks for The Baggies

The path trodden in during the last few weeks has been a rocky one for Pulis' men. That said, after surviving a penalty shoot-out scare versus Peterborough United in the FA Cup, the Baggies find themselves in last the 16 of the competition.

With lower-league opposition standing between them and a place in the quarter finals, their cup odyssey has given West Brom a good opportunity to find form, with Reading looking a manageable obstacle.

Everton trip will be stern test

With Saturday's visitors having conceded in every away game since their 1-0 win at Norwich City, Everton will be licking in their lips at the prospect of facing a Baggies defence in particularly generous mood of late.

The Toffees, meanwhile, have recorded 3-0 wins in their last three outings against Stoke City, Newcastle United and Carlisle United respectively.

The unpredictable nature of Roberto Martinez's side lurks in the shadows however as, previous to their current run, Everton had conceded in all of their last five games at home. West Brom will be hoping for those problems to return.

Baggies looking nervously over shoulders

With just six points separating West Brom and the drop zone, Pulis will be looking nervously at the situation below them in the league table. A further defeat this weekend could leave just three points as a cushion.

A win for the hosts meanwhile, would see Everton consolidate their top half standing, with a European spot within touching distance.

The last time the two sides met back in September, West Brom were on the losing end of a five goal thriller, courtesy of a brace from former Baggie Romelu Lukaku. In contrast, when the sides met on Merseyside last term, the spoils were shared in a goalless draw.

Team News

Everton duo John Stones and Tim Howard are doubts for the game, but both are expected to be passed fit. Muhamed Besic is ruled out with a hamstring injury, however, whilst Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert are also absent.

Pulis has a number of injury concerns ahead of the game. Gareth McAuley is definitely out with a hamstring strain, whilst the defensive duo of Craig Dawson (ankle) and Jonny Evans (hamstring) are doubts.

Chris Brunt could return for the Baggies, but Callum McManaman and James Morrison are still absent.
