Wild ambitions

Like Hanson, Wild also graduated from Manchester United's GCOE, before winning the FA WSL Development Northern Division in 2014/15 with the Liverpool LFC development team.

20-year-old Wild, who signed for an undisclosed fee, said, "I'm very excited for a new challenge at Sheffield FC Ladies. This is a new opportunity for me for me to play first team football and develop more as a player." She explained, "I couldn't think of a better club to join, and I'm very excited to see what the future holds."

Manager Johnson was delighted to conclude the deal, saying, "Olivia has fitted in instantly here at Sheffield. She has a great attitude and a real desire to develop her game further." The boss concluded, "She boosts our defensive options, but also possesses a real threat going forward. Myself and the staff are looking forward to working with her."
