Ahead of their friendly against France later this month, Mark Sampson has named his squad for the upcoming England camp.

At the same time as the announcement, the Football Association have confirmed that a France game will be one of two the Lionesses play in just a matter of days as after they leave the Keepmoat they’ll be off to Guadalajara, Spain to face the constantly improving Spanish national team.

With Sampson keen to prepare for next Summer’s Euros the friendlies seem like the most logical idea, giving England a chance to test their mettle against varied opponents they could very well be facing in Holland and it wouldn’t be surprising to see more scheduled ahead of the tournament.

Sampson makes just one change from the 23 he called up for the last two [Euro] qualifiers, Man City striker Toni Duggan is recalled as Chelsea’s Claire Rafferty misses out – with Alex Greenwood still side-lined this means Demi Stokes is his only option at left back.
