A move to Italy could be on the horizon for Feyenoord star, Daryl Janmaat according to his agent.

The highly rated Dutch international, who has been compared to Brazil star Daniel Alves by Ronald de Boer recently, is reportedly on Napoli’s radar as Rafael Benítez looks to bolster his squad.

Janmaat’s agent Rob Jensen spoke to calciomercato.net, about his client’s possible move to Italy, saying: “Napoli have shown an interest in my client and we will now see how the situation unfolds. “

Jensen also commented on rumours linking his client to a move to Juventus: “Juventus? I haven’t received any interest from them.”

Jensen also reiterated that any move, would be put on hold until after the World Cup, saying: “But now is the start of the World Cup and Janmaat will be concentrated only on that.”

Janmaat, who notched five assists in the Eredivisie last season, is also linked with a move to England. With Tottenham Hotspur and Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United reportedly interested in the 24-year-old, the race is hotting up for the right back.
