Denmark will hope to build on their opening 2-1 win over Armenia with a difficult away trip to Elbasan in Albania, who enjoyed a historical victory over a Portugal side led by Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday.

Morten Olsen's Scandinavians have a inline of exciting talent running through their veins at the moment, with the skill of Christian Eriksen, Lasse Schone and Nicklas Bendtner combined with the experience and leadership of Daniel Agger, Michael Krohn-Dehli and Lars Jacobsen, to name a few, making them a formidable force.

It's young gun Pierre-Emile Højbjerg who has been catching many an eye recently, however. The Bayern Munich midfielder scored his first Danish goal in the 2-1 win over Armenia last month and will be keen to continue that vain of form.

Albania only have one real stand-out player, in their captain, defender Lorik Cana of Lazio. As an ex-Sunderland centre-back, he will know all about the physicality of some of the Denmark squad, such as Bendtner, though it remains to be seen how he will be able to cope with the pace and skill of the likes of Eriksen and Schone.

Alban Meha, Edmond Kapllani and Mërgim Mavraj are all Germany-based and are key to their respective clubs successes, especially Kapllani. FSV Frankfurt rely heavily on the Albanian goals year-on-year to keep themselves competitive in the 2.Bundesliga. Taulant Xhaka, Granit Xhaka's brother, is also an Albanian national. Both were born in Kosovo, but neither have chosen to represent the country of their birth.

Albania's last victory over the Danes was 50 years ago - a 1-0 win at the 1964 European Championships in Spain. However, it's likely to have little or any bearing on tonight's game.
