The final group games are now upon us in the 2014/15 Champions League and there is still plenty at stake with no fewer than twenty-four teams still having something to play for. There will be joy, heartache and excitement as the last sixteen clubs are finalised and a further eight go into the Europa League. Without further ado here is exactly what is at stake:

Group A

Fixtures:

Juventus v Atletico Madrid

Olympiakos v Malmo

What each team needs:

Atletico Madrid are guaranteed a place in the last sixteen and only a loss by two or more goals will see them finish as runners-up in Group A.

Juventus are also through to the last sixteen and need to beat Atletico by more than two goals in Turin to win the group.

Olympiakos will enter the Europa League if they win or draw at home to Malmo.

Malmo need to beat Olympiakos in Greece if they are to go into the Europa League.

Group B

Fixtures:

Real Madrid v Ludogorets

Liverpool v Basel

What each team needs:

Real Madrid have won Group B and will enter the last sixteen as group winners regardless of how they do in their final game.

Basel will reach the last sixteen with a win or a draw at Anfield. If they lose they will enter the Europa League unless Ludogorets win in Madrid.

Liverpool need a win at home to Basel to reach the last sixteen. If they draw or lose they will enter the Europa League unless Ludogorets better their result.

Ludogorets will qualify for the Europa League if they beat Real Madrid. If Liverpool lose at home to Basel a draw would be enough to send the Bulgarians into the Europa.

Group C

Fixtures:

Benfica v Bayer Leverkusen

Monaco v Zenit St Petersburg

What each team needs:

Bayer Leverkusen are already in the last sixteen but will win Group C if they win in Portugal. They can still win the group with a draw but would need Monaco not to win. If they lose they will finish second in the group.

Monaco will guarantee themselves a last sixteen place if they win or draw at home to Zenit. If they better Bayer Leverkusen's result in Portugal, Monaco will go through as group winners. A loss would send Monaco into the Europa League.

Zenit St Petersburg will reach the last sixteen if they beat Monaco. Should Leverkusen lose in Portugal and they win they would be through as group winners. A draw or a defeat would mean Europa League football.

Benfica cannot progress in either competition after a disappointing campaign and this will be their last game in Europe this season.

Group D

Fixtures:

Borussia Dortmund v Anderlecht

Galatasaray v Arsenal

What each team needs:

Borussia Dortmund will win Group D with a win at home to Anderlecht. A draw and they will win the group unless Arsenal beat Galatasaray by six goals or more. Lose and they will finish as runners-up if Arsenal beat Galatasaray.

Arsenal are through to the last sixteen but can win the group if they beat Galatasaray and Dortmund lose or draw against Anderlecht. If Dortmund draw Arsenal need to win by six or more.

Anderlecht will enter the Europa League regardless of how they do in Germany.

Galatasaray will finish bottom of Group D no matter what they do against Arsenal.

Group E

Fixtures:

Bayern Munich v CSKA Moscow

Roma v Manchester City

What each team needs:

Bayern Munich have won Group E and will go into the last sixteen as group winners.

Roma will reach the last sixteen with a win against Manchester City. If they draw 0-0 they will go through unless CSKA win in Munich. If they draw with a higher score line than 0-0 then they will enter the Europa League unless CSKA win. If they lose it will be Europa League unless CSKA draw or win.

Manchester City will reach the last sixteen with a win unless CSKA win in Munich. If CSKA win they will enter the Europa League. A score draw would see City into the last sixteen unless CSKA match or better their result. Draw 0-0 and City will enter the Europa League unless CSKA match or better their result against Bayern. A loss will mean no European football for City after Christmas.

CSKA can reach the last sixteen with a win over Bayern Munich and Roma fail to win. A draw would see CSKA enter the Europa League. If they lose they will be eliminated from Europe unless Roma beat Man City.

Group F

Fixtures:

Barcelona v Paris St Germain

Ajax v APOEL

What each team needs:

Paris St Germain are into the last sixteen of the Champions League and if they avoid defeat to Barcelona they will win Group F.

Barcelona are guaranteed a place in the last sixteen but need to beat PSG if they are to win the group.

Ajax will enter the Europa League with a win or draw against APOEL. Lose and APOEL will take the Europa league spot.

APOEL need to win in Amsterdam to enter the Europa League.

Group G

Fixtures:

Chelsea v Sporting Lisbon

Maribor v Schalke

What each team needs:

Chelsea have won Group G and will take their place in the last sixteen draw as a group winner.

Sporting Lisbon will reach the last sixteen with a win or draw against an already qualified Chelsea.

Schalke need to beat Maribor and hope Sporting lose to Chelsea to reach the last sixteen. If Sporting get a point or better Schalke will enter the Europa League with a win. A draw would also see Schalke enter the Europa League but if they lose they will be out of Europe completely.

Maribor will qualify for the Europa League with a win over Schalke. Otherwise they will be eliminated from European competition for the season.

Group H

Fixtures:

Porto v Shakhtar Donetsk

Athletic Bilbao v BATE

What each team needs:

Porto have won Group H regardless of how they do against Shakhtar.

Shakhtar Donetsk have qualified for the last sixteen as runners-up.

Athletic Bilbao will enter the Europa League by avoiding defeat at home to BATE.

BATE need to win in Bilbao to qualify for the Europa League.
