21:45. Sadly, that's all we've got time for tonight. I hope that you've enjoyed following our LIVE coverage of Basel - Porto. I've been Oliver Emmerson, and hope to see you next time on VAVEL UK.

21:43. After claiming that vital away goal, you would most likely expect Porto to be the victors when these sides meet again in the second leg. A mention must go to referee Mark Clattenburg who had an exceptional game throughout.

21:41. Well, that's that. Despite a resolute defensive display from Basel, Porto eventually got the goal they most probably deserved through that Danilo penalty, which levelled things up after Derlis Gonzalez's early opener.

FULL TIME. BASEL 1-1 PORTO.

90+2'. Porto get one final chance from a corner, but nothing comes from it.

90.' Four minutes of time is added on.

89'. Winding down now, Porto seem content to take a score draw back home whilst Basel look too tired to muster up a winning attack. Danilo makes it nine yellow cards for the evening.

87'. Derlis Gonzalez, below, stretching to score the games opening goal early on.

83'. SUB- Ahmed Hamoudi comes on for Gashi in Basel's third and final change.

81'. SUB- Juan Quintero replaces Cristian Tello.

79'. Samuel was on a yellow card before the incident and is possibly lucky to still be on the pitch after that handball.

79'. Danilo takes a short run up and hammers the penalty into the bottom left hand corner with ease, a crucial penalty that levels up the game!

GOAL! BASEL 1-1 PORTO (DANILO)

78'. Walter Samuel has looked a yard off the pace all night and went in too late in an attempt to block a cross, handballing it. Up steps Danilo...

PENALTY TO PORTO!

71'. SUB- Oliver Torres is forced off with a shoulder injury and goes straight down the tunnel. Ruben Neves comes on in his place.

70'. 20 minutes to go and Basel will be wishing the referee could blow his whistle now, this 1-0 result would be ideal for them. Porto, on the other hand, really need to start adding some good penetration to their possession as they search for an equaliser.

65'. Very close for Porto as Martinez finds room in the penalty area following a clever pass by Torres, his chipped effort lands on the roof of the net.

63'. SUB- Marko Streller is replaced by Breel Embolo.

62'. Marek Suchy recieves the eighth yellow card of the night, and will now miss the return leg.

61'. SUB- Yacine Brahimi goes off for a familiar face around Europe, Ricardo Quaresma. Brahimi started well tonight but struggled to make an impact after the early stages.

59'. Tello comes close for Porto, racing on to a superb Torres pass only to see his shot saved by Vaclik.

57'. There are quite a few strong tackles going in now and there has been another booking, this time for Shkelzen Gashi.

52'. Amidst the drama of the goal that wasn't, Alex Sandro has been booked for a tackle on Taulant Xhaka.

49'. After consulting with his fellow officials, Clattenburg has ruled the goal out. The decision seems to have been made on the basis that a Porto player in an offside position was blocking Vaclik's view. Looks like a good decision.

CORRECTON: NO GOAL- BASEL 1-0 PORTO

48'. After Vaclik saved the header from a corner, Casemiro flicked in the rebound to level up!

17'. After clashing with Fabiano following the goal, Gonzalez had to recieve treatment for a couple of moments and is limping about the pitch now.

14'. The goal has come against the run of play after Porto looked more impressive in the first ten minutes, how will the Portugese giants react to this?

11'. It's Derlis Gonzalez who has put Basel 1-0 ahead, after Fabian Frei spotted his run and delivered an inch perfect pass. Gonzalez took the ball on and held off two defenders, toe-poking the ball past Fabiano to give his side the lead.
