Northern Ireland will look to find the form of their first three games as they take on an inconsistent Finland side in Belfast.

The game's hosts were brought back down to earth after their last qualifier, as they were resoundingly beaten 2-0 in Romania, meaning that they had lost the top spot in Group F after kicking off with three wins.

Michael O'Neill's team had seen off Hungary and Greece away as well as the Faroe Islands at home rather comfortably to be Europe's suprise package but were lucky to have not been beaten by more against group leaders Romainia.

Finland also got off to a decent start in this evenly matched group as they saw off the Faroe Islands 3-1 in game one, but they haven't won any of their three games since against the group's big boys.

Mixu Paataelianian's side sit on four points coming into this one with their other point in the group coming against Greece in the form of a 1-1 draw at home. A win here though and they be right back in contention for at least a play-off spot.

Team News

Defender Ben Reeves has had to pull out of the squad after a calf injury he picked up in the friendly loss to Scotland on Wednesday. The senior players rested for that game are likely to be recalled.

Finland are fortunate enough to have a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of this game.

Stats:

Northern Ireland have only lost five of their last 21 competive games at Windsor Park.

O'Neill's side have failed to score in six of their last nine internationals.

Finland have kept two succesive clean sheets, if they keep a third it would be the first time since 2007 when they had a run of four 0-0's in a row.
