Philippe Bergeroo has named his 23 player squad to represent France at the 2016 SheBelieves Cup this spring, just a few days after Silvia Neid named hers.

France will face Germany, USA and then England on March 3rd, 6th and 9th, respectively, to decide who will lift the trophy.

Familiar faces

The squad features many familiar faces as Bergeroo attempts to test his previous World Cup selection against the very best in the world.

Sarah Bouhaddi has returned from her long-term injury and will most likely be the starting goalkeeper for the team.

Amel Majri has been listed as a defender but we could more than likely see her play out wide if Bergeroo wants to change his usual formation.

As has been the case for a number of years, Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain make up the majority of the squad.

Renard still out with injury

Wendie Renard will be unavailable for this tournament due to injury which has given Kelly Gadea the opportunity to possibly feature for the first team.

Gaëtane Thiney has also been left off the roster with some speculation about a possible injury making her unavailable for selection.
