Hoffenheim forward, Eren Derdiyok, has revealed to Bild that he would prefer a move to Bundesliga outfit, Hamburger SV, than a move to Serie A side, Torino:

"Joining Torino is not an option for me, I am not eager to play in the Serie A and Torino is a club that is always in the bottom half of the table."

The 25 year old however understands that Hamburg must sell on a number of players before they can sign him:

"At this moment in time Hamburger SV need to sell a few players first, I know they want to get rid of some."

Derdiyok did not enjoy a strong start to his career at Hoffenheim last season, scoring only six goals in the Bundesliga during the 2012/2013 season. The Swiss international has previously played for Bayer Leverkusen and FC Basel.
