Bayern Munich captain, Philip Lahm is set to miss up to two weeks after sustaining an injury in yesterday's UEFA Champions meeting with CSKA Moskva.

Lahm hobbled off in Bayern's 3-1 victory with a suspected strained thigh, and after tests in Munich today, it has been revealed that the injury will mean he will miss his side's games against Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga and Augsburg in the DFB-Pokal.

In the club's official statement regarding the injury, Bayern blamed the conditions for the injury:

"With the temperature below freezing and on the rough and slippery surface, Lahm sustained the injury midway through the first half and was substituted after 30 minutes."

The right back has joined the Bavarian club's ever growing list of injury concerns: Bastian Schweinsteiger (ankle), Claudio Pizarro (muscle rupture), Xherdan Shaqiri (muscle strain), Franck Ribery (broken rib) and Holger Badstuber (cruciate) have all been sidlined recently. Shaqiri and Pizarro set to return soon however, as they are currently undergoing rehab for their injuries.
