Hertha Berlin's Adrian Ramos could certainly fit the bill. All though not as popular in his homeland as "El Tigre"(Falcao), he certainly possesses the stereotypical traits of a goal scorer. Ramos' performances this season haven't gone unnoticed by Bundesliga viewers. The performances have seen Ramos labelled as a "complete striker" by his manager at Hertha, Jos Luhukay. He has found performances on the national stage limited since the arrival of the aforementioned Pekerman, having not made an appearance for Colombia since mid-2011. He already has 22 caps to his name so you could say he is somewhat experienced, but with a goal to game ratio of 1:11 it doesn't look so rosey. His last goal came in his last appearance over two and a half years ago. Some may argue that Ramos has grown as a player since then and if given a chance, he could bang them in for fun. However, it seems Pekerman just doesn't see him as an option as of late with other strikers in the squad, such as; the injured Falcao, Luis Muriel and Jackson Martinez.

Pekerman has surely noticed Ramos' performances in the Bundesliga and has to be at least considering him by now. Ramos has netted 14 times in 23 appearances for Hertha BSC this season already, and has shown little to no signs of stopping. Twenty goals is easily reachable and a must for him if he wants to be representing Los Cafeteros(The Coffee Growers) this summer. He is without a doubt out to make a point to a manager who seems reluctant to select him. Ramos has already beaten his goal tally from the entire season before (eleven), which was spent in Bundesliga.2 . His goals would see Hertha crowned champions of 2. Liga for a third time in two years after a disastrous 11-12 season in the top tier saw them relegated.

Ramos is both quick and agile and deadly from close range; possibly his biggest threat. Many say Ramos has been one of, if not,  the biggest factor in Hertha finding themselves competing for a European spot this season. He is an out and out striker with an eye for goal and has been excellent to look throughout the season. Ramos definitely deserves his shot on the world stage with the form he is currently in. To not select him in the form he's in could prove disastrous for the Colombians in Rio. This could be a massive mistake for Pekerman who is losing out on a player in the form of his life some would argue. Jackson Martinez has been ever present in the Colombian side and has made 21 league appearances for club FC Porto and has got the same goal tally as Ramos - so replacing Martinez with Ramos means even more quality left out.

Luis Muriel has played sixteen and scored four for Serie A side, Udinese. Whilst the first half of the season saw Muriel pick up an injury followed by another shortly after return, but his goal scoring record isn't close to the men above. So it's now been established Martinez and Ramos have the better records, so surely it should be them spearheading the attack in place of Colombia heroin Falcao? With eleven league games to play it is crucial that Ramos keeps up his form - Pekerman will be left with no option but to select the talented 28 year old, who has been rumoured as a potential replacement for outgoing Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund.

The change of scenery could be highly beneficial to Ramos, if he was to depart for Borussia Dortmund. No disrespect to Ramos' current employers Hertha; but he would be playing with a higher caliber squad at Borussia Dortmund -  therefore receiving service and further goal scoring opportunities. A move for Ramos has the potential to result in more time representing his homeland in the remaining years of his career.
