World Cup 2014 in Brazil is just two months away and it set to feature some of the World's best players. We take a look at a selection of Bundesliga players that will be likely to feature in Brazil.

One of the stand out players in the Bundesliga this season is Hertha Berlin forward  Adrián Ramos.

Ramos finds himself joint second in the leagues scoring charts just two goals behind Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandžukić. Having featured in all 25 league games for Hertha BSC this season he has found the back of the net on fifteen occasions, whilst grabbing five assists in the process.

Both strong in the air and lethal inside the box Ramos has taken the Bundesliga by storm. Whilst being admired for his attacking play, Ramos is also known for his defensive contribution and link-up play.

Ramos has been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund in recent days for a fee believed to be around €8 million and certainly merits his performances this season.

Colombia are outsiders for the World Cup but they are no mean feat as they are fifth in the FIFA World Rankings and were as high as third in August. Falcao is currently recovering from an operation on his left knee and has a slight chance of making it to Brazil. The thought of Falcao and Ramos leading the line is a force to be reckoned with.

Not far behind Ramos is FSV Mainz 05 striker Shinji Okazaki on 11 goals for the season for a team who are pushing for a European place. Okazaki joined Mainz from Vfb Stuttgart in the Summer of 2013 scoring on his debut against his previous club in a 3-2 win. The 27-year-old is no newbie to the International scene either. He has made 73 appearences for his native Japan getting 38 goals in the process.

This is not Okazaki's first World Cup appearance either. He travelled to South Africa in 2010 where he scored against Denmark at the Royal Bafokeng stadium in a 3-1 win for Japan. Despite 11 goals in the Bundesliga this season, the Japanese striker recently went on a run of six games without a goal before being the architect in the comeback against unpredictable Hoffenheim netting twice.

All of Okazaki's goals like Ramos' have come inside the penalty box and likewise is known for his defensive abilities. Also very versatile, Okazaki can play on either wing as well as leading the line, which is where he is more of a threat.

Asian imports to the Bundesliga have increased in the past ten years, and one of them players is Heung-Min Son of Bayer Leverkusen. He joined the North Rhine-Westphalia club from Hamburger SV last summer and has scored eight goals in the league for the club.

His last goal came back in February in the only goal against Borussia Mönchengladbach and has since only played 425 minutes out of a possible 540 whilst only playing 23 minutes against Paris Saint Germain. Despite his lack of goalscoring towards the business end of the season, Son perhaps has a better understanding of the game playing out wide left for Leverkusen. Son is a huge counter-attacking threat with his pace and likes to cut inside on to his stronger right foot. His link-up play also does not go unnoticed.

One of the main reasons for Son's likely dip in form is not about his individual performances but Leverkusen's as a whole. Leverkusen have now gone eight games without a win in all competitions only scoring six goals in them eight and have now dropped down to fourth after being second much of the Bundesliga campaign.

Some may feel that Son is a lot older than he is as he has been playing in the Bundesliga for four years now. The 21-year-old will face the likes of Eden Hazard and Alan Dzagoev in Brazil and will also play Algeria.

Moving on to Kevin-Prince Boateng who will represent Ghana at the World Cup despite being born in Germany and his brother Jerome, playing for Germany.

Schalke's midfielder has been a revelation since joining The Royal Blues in the Summer of 2013. He can play in a number of positions however Schalke coach Jens Keller has since moved him from a more attacking role to sitting in front of the back four.

The 27-year-old joined from Serie A giants AC Milan whilst previously playing his trade in England with Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur. He is no stranger to the Bundesliga either having played for Hertha Berlin and being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund in 2010.

Boateng is very strong on the ball and can hit the ball from just about anywhere whilst being a threat making late runs from the midfield in to the penalty box. His main weakness is his tackling but he has Roman Neustädter to do that for him at Schalke. The midfielder has scored six goals in his debut season for Schalke also being awarded player of the month by fans in October.

The World Cup in Brazil also won't be Boateng's first finals either helping Ghana reach the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Uruguay on penalties in 2010. Boateng also scored at the World Cup in South Africa in a 2-1 win against the United States.

Bosnia and Herzegovina were one game away to going to South Africa in 2010 when they faced Portugal in the play-offs losing 2-0 on aggregate. Four years later they are heading to Brazil and so is Hoffenheim midfielder Sejad Salihović.

The versatile player can not only play anywhere across the midfield, but can also play at left-back despite not being his favoured position and just behind the strikers. Salihović has been with Baden-Württemberg club since 2006 and has made 200 appearances for the club scoring 56 goals.

Known for his passing abilities, Salihović has set-up five goals this season in only 15 starts. Very composed on the ball and dictates tempo whilst having killer set-piece abilities.

Salihović has 39 caps for his country playing with ex-club team mate Vedad Ibišević who is a prolific goalscorer for his club and country. Manchester City striker Edin Džeko will also be heading to Brazil and the front three for Bosnia and Herzegovina could provide some surprises come June.
