Jürgen Klopp has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managers job at Manchester United after they sacked David Moyes this morning.
The 46-year old told the Guardian: "My commitment to Borussia Dortmund and the people is not breakable."
"Manchester United is a great club and I feel very familiar with their wonderful fans."
German football expert Raphael Honigstein tweeted: "Klopp to Man Utd chances hover near the zero percent mark. Not totally impossible but close enough."
The Dortmund manager extended his contract with the club back in October until 2018, saying that he was "still in love with the club."
Klopp has been a wanted man in recent weeks and has since been linked with the managers job at Barcelona after it was reported that Gerardo Martino was expected to leave the Spanish giants.
Since taking over Dortmund from Mainz 05 in 2008, the highly respected manager has gone on to win two Bundesliga titles, a DFB-Pokal and had also reached the Champions League final last year, losing out to Bayern Munich.
Dortmund find themselves in a strong position towards the end of the Bundesliga, depsite Bayern Munich already celebrating their 24th title. Currently second in the league, six points ahead of Revierderby rivals Schalke 04. They reached the final of the DFB-Pokal where they will face Bayern Munich at the Olympiastadion.
However, Robert Lewandowski will rejoin former team mate Mario Götze at Bayern Munich in the summer, although flamboyant midfielder İlkay Gündoğan signed a contract extension until 2016 in midweek. Key players Marco Reus, Mats Hummels and Nevan Subotić are on long-term deals at the club, easing pressure to sell their best players.
