Today Bild reported that Borussia Monchengladbach winger Juan Arango is heading to Mexican side Tijuana Xolo when his current deal at Gladbach expires in the summer. A two-year deal with an option of a third has been agreed.

With wingers Andre Hahn and Ibrahima Traore coming through the door in the summer it was always going to be hard for Arango 33, to keep his place in the side. The player renowned for his costless kick ability has appeared in thirty of thirty-three matches to date and will almost surely start on Saturday for what will be his last outing for Monchengladbach.

Arango arrived in Germany five years ago from Mallorca and has went on to make over 150 appearances for "Die Fohlen". He is no stranger to the Mexican top flight and has already represented three sides in the league between 2000-2004.

"Gladbach offered me a 1 year extension, but told me I'd no longer be a sure starter. I'll always love Borussia." Arango told Bild.

A highly rated player within the ranks of Gladbach and current coach Lucien Favre even went as far as saying Arango was "one of the best left footed players in the world."
