Hannover 96 have confirmed the departure of Szabolcs Huszti today. Huszti's next football adventure will take place in China with Changchun Yatai, who have signed the Hungarian from Hannover for an undisclosed fee. The transfer has been heavily speculated over recent days with German media waiting in the shadows for a move to come to fruition. At thirty-one, Huszti has decided that he is currently at the right stage of his career to venture away from Europe and experience an entirely different culture, potentially way out of his comfort zone. Despite being the wrong side of thirty, Huszti has left Europe rather early. The fee of the transfer is believed to be around the €1.5million mark, whilst Huszti is expected to be collecting a larger paycheck in China in contrast to the Lower Saxony club, similar to when he first left Hannover for Zenit St. Petersburg. Hannover's official president Martin Kind was quoted by TZ

"Szabolcs Huszti approached us with the firm intention to us to change immediately. We thank him for the good performances at Hannover 96 and will respect his transfer request."

After two successful spells at Hannover and firmly becoming a fan favourite at the HDI Arena, Hannover will have to adapt to post-Huszti life. It won't be easy, that's for sure. Huszti's ten goals and nine assists last term highlight the importance he held within the side, leaving Tayfun Korkut the unwanted task of replacing arguably his most influential player. Korkut was also quoted by TZ to have said;

"Huszti was a player who made the difference. Now we need to see that we can find a good replacement."

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest have also been a talking point regarding Bundesliga transfer. It's one in, one out at centre half for Forest. Former Chelsea prodigy and current Hamburg central defender, Michael Mancienne, was subject to a €1.5 million bid from Nottingham Forest as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of the new season. Mancienne has found himself frozen out of the first-team squad at Hamburg as the move never helped propel his career to the heights some had tipped him for. Mancienne is expected to sign a four-year deal and undergo a medical within the next twenty-four hours, as the Brit will be linking up with former under-21 manager Stuart Pierce once again.

The departure of Chilean Gonzalo Jara was confirmed once the Championship season come to a close with his contract expiring at the end of June. Jara's swapped England for Germany, as the Chilean has signed a two-year deal with Mainz. The former Forest and West Brom man was part of a make-shift back three for Chile at the World Cup, which certainly would have done him favours searching for a club as Chile were one the most impressive sides in the tournament. Jara is the first of two new recruits in a day for Mainz, with the other being Stefanos Kapino. The twenty-year old Greek international goalkeeper joins from Panathinaikos for €2.25 million and addresses a key problem Mainz suffered in between the sticks. Mainz will be hoping the youngster can bring stability at the back and maximise the potential he is believed to have.
