Haris Seferovic has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a 3 year deal for a reported €3.2 million from Real Sociedad.

The Swiss International leaves La Real after just one underwhelming season in which he saw himself in and out of the team and even arrested. The 22 year old striker signed for Sociedad last summer for a fee of €3m, but with the recent arrival of Alfred Finnbogason it was inevitable that Seferovic would depart. The Switzerland striker managed just four goals and two assists during his time at the Anoeta; Real Sociedad will hope it's not the beginning of an exodus, after Antoine Griezmann left for Atlético Madrid earlier in the week.

He represented Switzerland at the World Cup and scored once, a dramatic late winner against Ecuador; as the Swiss made it to the quarter-finals of the tournament, before being knocked out by eventual runners up Argentina.

Seferovic becomes Eintracht's 6th summer signing following Lucas Piazon and Timmy Chandler amongst others through the door at the SGE Arena.
