It has been reported today that Hull City are pondering a move for Schalke fullback Christian Fuchs.

Fellow Premier League side, Sunderland, have also been linked with the Austrian as well as French outfit Bordeaux and Italian side Palermo. Fuchs has been rated at £3 million, so the Tigers may be tempted at making a bid for the vastly experienced and seasoned campaigner.

Horst Heldt, Schalke's sporting director said to the media: “We have had three concrete offers.”

The move for Austrian captain Fuchs would add more strength and competition in the left back position for Hull as they recently signed Andy Robertson from Dundee United. City also have Conor Townsend who recently signed for Dundee United on loan, Joe Dudgeon who joined Barnsley on a month loan, Honduran international Maynor Figueroa and Liam Rosenior who was deployed there regularly last season after been converted from a right back.
