Former Fulham player, Bryan Ruiz could be preparing to move to Germany as Werden Bremen wish to finalise a deal for the striker.

The Costa Rican spent the first half of last season Fulham before joining Dutch based side, PSV Eindhoven for the second part of the season. Many clubs must have been impressed with his performances during the World Cup, as the former FC Twente man has also been linked with Dutch giants Ajax and Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev.

The general manger of Werden Bremen, Thomas Eichin told Bild: "Maybe our time (to sign Bryan Ruiz) has come!"

This emphasises the reports that Ruiz has made an agreement on signing for the Bundesliga outfit and that they have become the front runners in acquiring his signature.

Werder will now need to produce a deal with Fulham as Bremen are eyeing up a permanent deal.
