Borussia Mönchengladbach striker, Max Kruse has returned to training following a successful recovery from kidney stone surgery.

The six time German international took to his official Facebook page to break the news to his worldwide fan base saying:

"Hi people, I have arrived back in training and I'm alright!

Heres a small impression ( referring to him training and the attached photos ), even when it rains, I am at last back on the training ground.

Yours, Max"

Kruse has missed out all five of Borussia's competitive games so far including "die Fohlen's" huge 10-2 aggregate win in Europe against FK Sarajevo.

In his absence, young Swede, Branimir Hrgota has stepped up to the plate and bagged seven goals in the five games including a hat trick against the aforementioned FK Sarajevo.

Kruse's return will bring some much needed support for Borussia who only had Hrgota as a first team striker during his injury following the mass exodus of forwards during the summer.
