VfL Wolfsburg and LOSC Lille will look to attain their first UEFA Europa League triumphs of 2014/15 as they meet in Group H on Thursday evening at the Volkswagen Arena. (Kick-off 17:00 GMT)

While Wolfsburg were comprehensively beaten 4-1 by Everton, Lille were held to a 1-1 draw by Russian outfit Kuban Krasnador, with former Wolfsburg man Simon Kjaer getting on the scoresheet for the French side. The Wolves currently occupy 9th place in the German Bundesliga, while The Great Danes hold 3rd spot in French Ligue 1, just 4 points off the pace.

Wolfsburg team news:

Right-back Sebastian Jung was limited to individual training on Tuesday but is confident of featuring in midweek. “If my body doesn’t react badly then it should work out” claimed the 24-year-old. Elsewhere, Christian Träsch trained for the first time since injuring his shoulder in pre-season, but probably won’t be rushed back into action. That will leave a predicted starting XI of: Benaglio, Jung, Naldo, Knoche, Rodriguez - Guilavogui, Gustavo - Vieirinha, De Bruyne, Perisic - Olic (4-2-3-1).

Lille team news:

The visitors will be without midfield maestro Rio Mavuba, who is recovering from injury. Nolan Roux and Marvin Martin are also yet to prove their fitness levels and are doubts ahead of the clash, leaving a predicted starting XI of:  Enyeama - Beria, Kjaer, Basa, Souare - Delaplace, Gueye - Origi, Marcos Lopes, Mendes - Frey (4-2-3-1)

Key men:

Wolfsburg - Ivaca Olic & Kevin de Bruyne:

Even at 35 years of age, Ivica Olic is going a long way to prove that class is temporary. With 3 goals to his name already this season, the Croatian attacker has continously contributed with not only goals, but an incredible work ethic and professional attitude. Ably assisted by the likes of €22 million man Kevin De Bruyne, Olic spoke mid-week about the importance of Thursday's clash "It’s an important game that we want, and must, win."

Ivica Olic: Veteran

Lille - Divock Origi & Marcos Lopes:

Avid Premier League fans will be well aware of Liverpool's Origi and Manchester City's Lopes, both on loan spells with the French side for the coming season, and both young talents already producing some eye-catching performances. In particular, Origi, with 3 goals and 2 assists in Ligue 1 to his name, will be hoping to spearhead a domestic and European charge, and with Liverpool's evident lack of goals in recent weeks, may even be considered for a recall from loan.

Divock Origi: Dangerman

Prediction: Wolfsburg 2:1 LOSC Lille
