Christoph Kramer will miss Borussia Mönchengladbach's away tie to Hannover this weekend, coach Lucien Favre confirmed in Thursday's pre-match press conference.

On International duty this past week Kramer played no part against Republic of Ireland as Joachim Löw sent the Borussia loanee home. Kramer was said to be suffering flu like symptoms.

"Christoph Kramer will sit out until Sunday. All of the other internationals returned without any problems," said Favre in the press conference.

Kramer has been pivotal in Gladbach's superb start to the season that has seen them go undefeated in all competitions scoring once in the process.

Favre also confirmed that veteran full back Filip Dæms will also play no part at the HDI-Arena where it is expected 6000 of "die fohlen's" supporters will be in attendance.
