Things need to change quickly for Freiburg as they look to defeat Köln at the RheinEnergieStadion on Sunday afternoon. The home side has been in impressive form these last few weeks with two straight wins in the Bundesliga, capped off with 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund, and a midweek cup win over lowly Duisburg. On the other hand, Freiburg has been going in the opposite direction, despite winning 5-2 in the Pokal against 1860 München this past Wednesday. They are coming off of two consecutive losses in league play, losing to Wolfsburg at home and against Augsburg on the road, mustering only one goal in the process.

"We've got to keep the league table, our points, our opponents' points, at a distance. To get back on track, all that matters is the way we're playing,'' said the Freiburg coach in the latest Kicker magazine. Pavel Krmas will be sidelined tomorrow as he damaged knee ligaments last weekend while Stefan Mitrovic is expected to start in the central part of the Freiburg defense.

While the Koln manager, Stöger, says that, "We've got the chance to add one to our three wins in a row and we're going to play in such a way that only the three points matter for us.'' Tomas Kalas, on loan from Chelsea, is out along with the veteran striker Patrick Helmes are both out with similar hip injuries. Marcel Risse will miss the match tomorrow with a nagging muscle injury and because of this Slawomir Peszko is expected to be in the starting eleven.

The last six Bundesliga matches have produced a lot of goals. In last season's enoucnters, there were a total of nine goals as each side won the tie at their own stadium. Köln won the last match up by a scoreline of 4-1 while Freiburg defeated Köln in the earleir match up during the season by four goals to nil in a very one sided afair.

Probable Köln starting eleven: Horn - Olkowski, Mavraj, Wimmer, Hector - M. Lehmann - Peszko, Vogt, D. Halfar, Svento - Ujah.

Probable Freiburg starting eleven: Bürki - Sorg, Torrejon, Mitrovic, C. Günter - Schuster, Darida - Schmid, Klaus - Freis, Mehmedi.
