1899 Hoffenheim's talismanic midfielder Sejad Salihovic has said that he'd like to stay at the club for the remainder of his career.

Speaking to German football magazine kicker, Salihovic has recently been concentrating on returning from an injury. The dead-ball specialist seems to be confident of a come-back sooner rather than later: "I'm training for the third week now and I am back in good shape, physically fit and everything. I hope that I will be used again soon and can then help the team."

Attentions then turned to the 30-year-old's future at Hoffenheim, who he's played for since 2006, "I'll play as long as I have the legs." he said. "I can already imagine that I'll finish my career at Hoffenheim. I've already played for this club a long time. You have to discuss it from time to time, there is still a little time."

While the future is all well and good, Salihovic wanted to boost team moral in the here and now. Hoffenheim had gone nine games unbeaten, but have slipped to three consecutive defeats: "We must take a positive approach to the defeats and must not be too negative," commented Salihovic, who finished with: "We are a strong team."
