Eintracht Frankfurt defender Bastian Oczipka has stated his intention to stay at the Eagles past his contract end next summer.

The left-back, who turns 26 next month, has been an integral part in the side that has launched itself to ninth in the Bundesliga table, with back-to-back wins against Dortmund and Mönchengladbach in recent weeks.

However, his future is in the air with no extention agreed, while his current deal expires in the summer of 2015. There is no doubt where Oczipka wants to be though, telling Bild: "I feel incredibly well here and i'd love to stay. It would be nice if there were talks soon."

Fans of Thomas Schaaf's men will also be hoping he stays at the Commerzbank-Arena, after finding some superb form which has seen him clock up over 60 Bundesliga appearences and 12 assists since joining in 2012.

The Eagles face Werder Bremen at home on Sunday, and Oczipka is sure to make his ninth start of the season in-front of the Frankfurt faithful.
