It wasn't the best of matches in truth, but both sides will be pleased as the two clubs will come away with a point as this match ended with the final score being 0-0. The chances were few and far between, and the shots that were mustered out did not trouble either of the two goalkeepers at all. Both managers used their subs late on in this match, but they failed to make the impact that was sought out. These two clubs will have to pick themselves up quickly as the season is a marathon, not a sprint, and will have to settle for a point every now and then.

The hosts, however, will not be too happy as this is now their third draw in as many matches, but are still in a playoff stop, albeit, for a time being. However, during this stretch of run for Die Lillen, they have not managed to find the back of the net, which the manager will be far from pleased with. Yes their defense is good, but if they are pushing for promotion they will have to find the back of the net sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, on the other side of things, Fürth should be happy with this result as they are picking up points which is helping them move ever slow surely back up that table after the visitors took a bit of the tumble downward. Each game though has given them a little bit more confidence and sooner rather than later Fürth are going to get that victory that will jumpstart their season and push for a promotion back into the Bundesliga.
