Eintracht Frankurt will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they host Werder Bremen at the Commerzbank-Arena on Sunday. They will hope the league's top scorer, Alexander Meier, will be on top form.

The hosts will be hoping to make it three wins in a row, after impressive victories against Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Alexander Meier made it took his goal tally up to eight for the season last week, with a cool finish against struggling Dortmund and manager Thomas Schaaf will be hoping his team can continue their recent good form.

Speaking about the game Schaaf said; "We have to go into the match with Bremen with the same energy levels we've displayed in our last two games." Frankfurt still have Kevin Trapp, Constant Djakpa, Carlos Zambrano, Nelson Valdez and Jan Rosenthal sidelined with injury, but should have Marco Russ available after recovering from an ankle problem. The former-Bremen coach will likely field the same team which beat Dortmund 2-0 last week.

Werder Bremen will also look to carry on their good form, with three wins out of their last four and in each of those three triumphs, have kept a clean sheet. They will be without defender Alejandro Gálvez after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in last week's 4-0 win over Paderborn.

Ludovic Obraniak, Özkan Yildirim and Franco Di Santo are also out of contention, while Assani Lukimya is set to replace Galvez in defence. Clemens Fritz and Santiago Garcia are also expected to return. Bremen manager Viktor Skrypnyk said; "Schaaf is experienced but we must be clever and do our own thing."

Bremen will be looking to move further away from the relegation places with a win, but have failed to beat Frankfurt since 2009. A win for Frankfurt will see them move up to seventh, two points outside the top four.
